The Story of Pickering’s Gin
Edinburgh, Lothians & Fife District Centre event
After a hectic December, we often need something to lift our spirits when January rolls around. So we’re delighted to announce that the team behind Pickering’s Gin have kindly agreed to share their story with us – and at the end of their talk they’ll provide a gin tasting!
This event will be held at the Summerhall Distillery, where award-winning Pickering’s Gin is hand crafted on a site that once housed Edinburgh’s veterinary school.
We’re sure you’ll want to raise a glass to this event, so early booking is recommended.
Facilitator
Co-founded by Marcus Pickering and Matt Gammell in 2014, Summerhall Distillery became the first exclusive gin distillery to be established in Edinburgh for more than 150 years.
Since then the team have introduced several limited editions, including their famous festive gin-filled baubles – last year’s batch of 30,000 sold out within just 82 seconds!
In September, Pickering’s Gin received the accolade of Innovation of the Year for its Christmas gin baubles at the inaugural Scottish Gin Awards, where it also won the Excellence in Marketing title and was a finalist for Scottish Gin Distillery of the Year.
This is a free event for members. Non-members £10.
