My Membership

The enterprise membership should apply automatically on your renewal date. Check that your employment details are up to date and contact us if you think you have been charged the wrong fee. If you are a member or fellow of the Institute then you will have to pay a top up fee (at a discounted rate) to maintain that status.

If you are a fully qualified Member or Fellow of the Chartered Banker Institute, you will have to pay a top up fee to maintain that status. We are offering a discounted rate of £44 for Members and £110 for Fellows. If you are due to pay that fee, we will write to you and let you know. If your employer has agreed to pay this, they will contact us on your behalf and we'll upgrade your membership automatically.

We will offer you the opportunity to renew your membership with the Chartered Banker Institute. It’s too early to say whether your employer will continue with the enterprise membership next year, but we’ll write to you at your renewal date with your options.

When you registered with the Chartered Banker Instiute, we asked you to supply your contact details. It’s important that you keep these up to date and use your work email address so you can take advantage of any discounts your employer negotiates on your behalf. The Institute will write to you on your renewal date using the details you provide.

There is a 10% discount on all Institute qualifications and an additional discount on the Professional Banker Certificate.

Yes. Everyone employed by NatWest Group can register. The enterprise membership covers all NatWest brands, countries and jurisdictions.

You can get sponsorship for certifications/diplomas if you have business approval. Every quarter, L&D India will collate all enrolments and send the list to the Chartered Banker Institute, so highlight your interest through your business spocs. Payments for sponsored certifications/diplomas will be sent centrally to the Institute.

Yes, all your CPD can be recorded on your membership page and will be recorded by the Chartered Banker Institute.

Always request funding for a professional qualification using your normal process before you register for a professional qualification with the Chartered Banker Institute. You can register and pay for an exam yourself but there is no guarantee that your employer will then agree to refund you if you haven’t had prior approval. Search ‘professional qualifications’ on the NatWest intranet for more details about the professional qualifications policy in your area.

Your membership is fully covered by the enterprise membership.
