Associate Chartered Banker Diploma

The Associate Chartered Banker Diploma is a professional qualification designed to develop and enhance skills and knowledge, building the core technical expertise and practical competencies essential for responsible and professional bankers. Upon completion, learners also achieve the prestigious and globally recognised Associate Chartered Banker designation. This credential enhances their banking expertise, supports career advancement, and provides valuable industry recognition. 

Duration: Can be completed in as little as 12 months.  

Cost: To achieve the qualification, learners must complete four modules.  

Total cost varies depending on the modules selected, with a total ranging between £1,895 and £2,025 (includes the first examination sitting for each qualification). 

Examination resit: £145 per qualification.   

Eligibility: Open to all banking professionals. There are no formal entry requirements. This qualification enables learners to: 

• develop core banking knowledge alongside ethical, responsible and digital banking skills. 

• support their clients and customers. 

• meet current and emerging regulatory requirements. 

• demonstrate professional standards. 

After completing this qualification, learners can use the professional designation ‘Associate Chartered Banker’ (ACBI) after their name, marking a significant milestone in their banking career.

• Assessment: Each module is assessed by a multiple-choice exam, which can be taken remotely or at your nearest test centre.  
• Certification: Digital certificate awarded via email within five days of completion. 
• Membership Requirement: £36 annual subscription to the Institute. 
• Registration Validity: 12 months per module, including sitting and passing the final exam.
