Professional Banker Diploma
The Professional Banker Diploma builds on the Professional Banker Certificate 2019 and opens up a range of wider banking disciplines for further study. The Professional Banker Diploma is suitable for individuals who have completed the Professional Banker Certificate 2019 and have some banking experience. It is an alternative to direct entry into our Associate Chartered Banker-level qualifications for those who wish to study a further two modules and gain a diploma. The qualification offers a range of subjects which allow learners to follow specific interests to match their career aspirations and tailor their knowledge requirements.
Learners who complete the Professional Banker Diploma become eligible to use the professional designation ‘Certificated Professional Banker’. As Certificated members of the Institute they are also eligible to use the membership designation ‘CCBI’. For those wishing to continue their professional studies with the Institute to gain chartered status, the next steps are to continue to the award of our Associate Chartered Banker designation through the study of one further Associate Chartered Banker-level qualification, and ultimately onto our Chartered Banker-level qualifications and Chartered Banker designation.
Note: The Professional Banker Diploma is comprised of the Professional Banker Certificate 2019 (or an earlier version of the Professional Banker Certificate) and two Professional Banker Diploma modules. The Professional Banker Certificate 2023 does not contribute to the Professional Banker Diploma.
The Professional Banker Diploma remains available for learners who previously completed or are currently registered for the Professional Banker Certificate 2019 (or earlier version).
The following modules have been withdrawn. Students who currently hold, or are currently studying for one of these 6 qualifications, may continue to use the qualification towards the award of the Professional Banker Diploma.
